This itinerary offers an immersive cultural and wildlife experience in Nepal. Starting in Kathmandu, the trip includes a scenic mountain flight, a visit to the ancient Bhaktapur and Patan Durbar Square, as well as iconic spiritual sites such as Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa. Next, visit Chitwan National Park, home to endangered species such as the One-Horned Rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger, and Gharial Crocodile, where you will enjoy game drives, jungle walks, and elephant safaris. Moving on to Pokhara, you will be treated to stunning views of Mt Annapurna and nearby mountain ranges from Sarangkot. Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival - Kathmandu
You are received at Kathmandu International Airport and chauffeured to your hotel for check-in and overnight stay.
Day 2: Kathmandu
Embark on an early morning mountain flight for a panoramic encounter with the highest peaks on earth. Later we walk on the cobbled streets of Bhaktapur which is still packed with old-world charm. In the afternoon we visit Pashupatinath Temple – “The temple of Living Beings”. Next, we visit Boudhanath Stupa which has stood as a beacon of Buddhist belief, towering over the surrounding town as a giant mandala of peace and beauty.
Day 03: Kathmandu
In the morning we visit Patan Durbar Square which is full of ancient places, temples, and shrines noted for their exquisite carvings. Perched high above the city on a mountaintop, visit the Swayambhunath Stupa which is a fascinating mix of Buddhist and Hindu iconography.
Day 04: Kathmandu – Bharatpur (By Flight) – Chitwan National Park
In time reach Kathmandu airport to catch your flight to Bharatpur. From Bharatpur, we drive to Chitwan National Park. This park is home to many endangered species like One-Horned Rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger, Gharial Crocodile, Freshwater Gangetic Dolphin, and others. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in the park.
Day 05 & 6: Chitwan National Park
During these two days, you will have a variety of activities to choose from. You can opt from going for a game drive in the National Park, Jungle Walks, Elephant Safaris in the buffer zone, Village Tour, etc.
Day 07: Chitwan National Park – Bharatpur – Pokhara (By Flight)
In time reach Bharatpur airport to catch your flight to Pokhara. In the afternoon, get lost in Pokhara’s old bazaar and later enjoy spending time near Phewa Lake during sunset.
Day 08: Pokhara
Early morning leave for Sarangkot to see glorious views of Mt Annapurna and nearby mountain ranges. You have the option to hike to a nearby village to see the local life or take a bird watching excursion with one of our local experts.
Day 09: Pokhara – Kathmandu (By Flight)
After breakfast take a flight to Kathmandu. You have the rest of the day at leisure. Feel free to explore the local bazaar on your own.
Day 10: Kathmandu – Departure
As you bid farewell to this beautiful country, you are filled with a sense of gratitude and humility. The warmth of the locals, the natural wonders of the land, and the spiritual journey have left an indelible mark on your heart and soul. As you are chauffeured to Kathmandu International Airport for your flight back home, you know that this is not the end, but merely the beginning of a lifelong love affair with Nepal.
