This village-styled boutique hotel is entrenched in local culture, designed with authenticity and luxury in equal measure, along with a wildlife experience that rewrites the script.

The 18 Kothi’s (cottages) are double-storey suites, each with a tub, an outdoor shower, a shaded courtyard, and a first-floor verandah. Add to that a swimming pool, inspired by the step-wells of Gujarat. The suites are built with stones and reclaimed wood from local villages to create a low-impact experience, much like the bush camps of Africa.

Sustainable & Responsible Tourism
Practices and Initiatives

Wherever possible organic and natural materials have been chosen to build the lodge and sourced from the surrounding villages and Gujarat.

They have a strict zero-plastic policy and only 40 percent of the land has been used to build the lodge, keeping as much as 60 percent under natural vegetation and farmland.

The water used in their gardens is harvested during the monsoon.

They have scouted handicraft centers and commissioned local artisans to do their interiors.

In the barren areas of the property thousands of trees have been planted and water bodies are reinstated. As a result, a large bird population and visits from the animal kingdom have now become regular affairs at the property.
